What Is Laser Engraving?

Laser engraving uses focused laser energy to permanently mark a surface. On compatible drinkware, the process creates engraved artwork rather than placing a printed graphic, sticker or decal on top of the product.

Laser Engraving vs. Printed Graphics

A printed design applies ink, film or another material to the surface. Laser engraving instead changes the surface itself. This creates the clean engraved appearance used on FanSipz sports and custom drinkware.

How Laser-Engraved Drinkware Is Created

1. Artwork is prepared. A logo, name, text or design is prepared for engraving.
2. The drinkware is selected. The appropriate tumbler, bottle, mug, beverage holder or glassware style is chosen.
3. The artwork is positioned. The design is sized and positioned for the selected product.
4. The design is laser engraved. The laser permanently marks the appropriate surface to create the finished engraved artwork.

What Designs Can Be Laser Engraved?

Logos, names, text and many types of artwork can be prepared for laser engraving. Designs with clear shapes, strong lines and good contrast often translate especially well into engraved artwork.
